Frequently Asked Questions about your Member Splash Account

Why is my account number and Greenbriar Pool Membership Certificate number different?

When you purchased your Greenbriar Pool Membership, you bought one of 600 memberships with a specific pool number attached to it.  When you decide to sell your membership, you will be selling that specific pool number to a new owner.  The pool numbers end up being “recycled” as the memberships change hands over the years.

Member Splash assigns its own account number to each membership, which is unique and will never be “recycled.”  For that reason, the account number assigned by Member Splash will not match your pool certificate number.  The Member Splash account number will be printed on all invoices and transaction records; your pool certificate number is what you will use at the front desk at the pool to check in.

Why is the wrong account number listed on all of my invoices/past transaction records?

The account number listed on all invoices and transaction records is the account number assigned by Member Splash.  Your Pool Certificate Number does not appear on invoices.  To verify that your Pool Certificate Number is correct, look at the account details section of your Member Splash account.

Can I change my username?

Yes!  In the account details section of Member Splash, click on the pencil to make any changes to your account.  You may select a new username.  We recommend using something unique to you, such as a current email address or phone number.

How do I opt in to receiving email from the pool?

Greenbriar Pool Club uses Mailchimp to manage email communication with the Pool Community.  Your Member Splash account automatically syncs to Mailchimp.  Adding or updating your email address is how you “opt in” to email communication. No further steps are needed on your part.

I don’t want to receive email from the pool.  How do I opt out?

At the bottom of every email sent out through Mailchimp is an “Unsubscribe” link.  Click this link and you will be removed from the pool email list.

Please note:  Clicking this link will remove you from ALL bulk email communication from the pool.  It is not possible to opt out of certain types of email communication; you either get all email from the pool or none.

The Pool Board strongly discourages you from unsubscribing to bulk email communication.  Email is the best way for us to give you important updates about the pool and send reminders about paying your fees.

I don’t seem to be receiving any email from the pool.  Why is that?

There are a few reasons why you might not be receiving email when you think you should:

  • Sometimes our emails end up in the Promotions tab for Gmail accounts or spam folder for other email providers.  Please check there and change your email settings to ensure emails from us make it to your Inbox.
  • Occasionally some strange things happen when the same email address is listed for multiple people. To avoid any confusion, each person on your account should have a unique email address listed, or no email address at all.  For shared email accounts, the email address should be listed for one person, not both.  If you do not want your children to receive email from the pool, please leave the email field blank under their contact information.
  • You may not be receiving email if you opted out by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link located at the bottom of a Mailchimp email.  Clicking on that link unsubscribes you from all email communication from the pool.  If you accidentally unsubscribed and wish to resubscribe, please click here.  You will receive an email with instructions about opting back in within 1-2 days business days.
